Community Event – Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival

Come join your friends at one of the top judged festivals in America, 42nd Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival, September 22-24th, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. each day. We have something for everyone to see and do at our festival. Under large tents in the outdoor beauty of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia approximately one hour northwest of Washington, DC.   There’s no better way to spend a September weekend!

Approximately 200 quality juried artists/crafters from 24 states will be demonstrating their wonderful work at the festival. There will be activities for the children such as: a children’s tent where children can make an Appalachian craft and scavenger hunt.

Watch for the Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival signs and follow them to Sam Michaels’ Park, just off RT. 340 between Harpers Ferry and Charles Town. Admission is $7 for adults, $4 for children 6-17.  Parking, arts/crafts demonstrations, wine tasting, live bluegrass music (Saturday & Sunday), and children’s crafts, are included in the price of admission; So bring the entire family! Patrons must be 21 to taste/purchase beer & wine.
