Village Square Learning – Empowering Families, Enabling Workforce.
Founded in 2007, Village Square Learning is a privately owned and operated Early-Childhood Education and Development Program offering private early childhood education and care to infants through Private Kindergarten, as well as Summer and Holiday activities for children ages 6 through 12.
Childhood development is a process which prepares children to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood through a coordinated, progressive series of activities and experiences which help them to become socially, morally, emotionally, physically, and cognitively competent. Village Square Learning’s positive proactive initiatives address the broader developmental needs of children, in contrast to deficit-based models which focus solely on youth problems. Elements of our program promoting positive development of children include: Building ongoing relationships with caring adults — parents, mentors, or teachers; Creating safe places with structured activities during non-school hours; Facilitating a healthy start to a positive future through effective education and the development of marketable life-skills.
