Rise and Shine Breakfast Programs are held twice a month. The purpose of these programs is to help our business community keep up with all that is going on in the community. These events are held on Fridays at the Holiday Inn Martinsburg unless otherwise noted.
7:15 a.m. – Doors Open
7:30 a.m. – Buffet Starts
8:00 a.m. – Program Starts
9:00 a.m. – Adjourn2018 Programs:
- April 6 – Paper Tigers documentary screening – The April 6 program will run until 10:00 a.m.
- April 20 – Joni Greenburg and Kija Wilson from Berkeley County Schools will discuss Project Aware, an effort to reduce the impact of adverse childhood experiences.
- May 4 – Dr. Emma Morton-Eggleston and Dr. Sarah Moerschel from WVU Medicine will talk about the role of childhood trauma on adult health.
- May 18* (at The Purple Iris) – Lori Lawson, Adolescent Health Coordinator for RESA 8 will discuss the developmental assets that many of our local children don’t have and how we, as a community, can help build those assets.
June 1 – Berkeley County Schools
