Complete Your Degree, Propel Your Career!
Many busy adults aspire to return to college and complete a degree, but the realities of work, family, and travel time often don’t match up well with traditional programs. Shepherd University recognizes that adults have different needs, goals, and experiences than traditional students and proudly offers a new Regents Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Business Administration degree tailored to fit the needs of adult learners.
The R.B.A. at Shepherd University Martinsburg Center provides considerable flexibility in how, when, and where course requirements are met. Typical courses in the Martinsburg R.B.A. meet once or twice a week in the evenings and are supplemented by online content. Students can work at their own pace to complete their degree, earning credits through regular courses, by exam, or internet-based courses.
Credits earned at regionally accredited institutions may count toward an R.B.A. degree—even if a student has been out of school for a long time—and even knowledge gained from previous work or life experience can translate into college credits. Military credits earned can also be used toward the R.B.A.
In addition to flexible programming, students enrolled in Shepherd University Martinsburg’s R.B.A. studies may be eligible for financial aid including the Higher Education Adult Part-time Student Program (HEAPS) or a WV Higher Education Grant. Non-West Virginia residents may qualify for a grant of up to $1,200 per three credits.
